SILVER POINT: Funeral services for John Overall Anderson, 83, will be held tomorrow December 7 at 1:00 p.m. in Silver Point Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Maynard Cemetery in DeKalb Co., TN.
Mr. Anderson died Tuesday, December 5, 1989 at his home. A native of
DeKalb Co., TN he was the son of the late Silas F. and Maggie Eastham
Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a retired employee of the Federal government, serving as U.S. Marshall and Fed County Clerk from the
Middle Tennessee District.
His family includes his wife, Lois Smith Anderson of Silver Point and
several nieces & nephews. Pallbearers will be the elders & deacons of
Silver Point Church of Christ. The body will lie in state at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home after 4:30 today.
