James D. Spitzer
Church Hill – James David Spitzer, 46, Route 2, Church Hill, died Tuesday at Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center after an apparent heart attack.
A lifelong resident of Hawkins County, he was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and was employed by Holliston Mills.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Skeens Spitzer, Church Hill; five daughters, Mrs. Sherry Ann Calton, Miss Connie Elizabeth Spitzer, Miss Aleta Christine Spitzer, Miss Amy Michelle Spitzer and Miss Angela Nicole Spitzer, all of Church Hill; two sons, James David Spitzer, Jr. and Christopher Jason Spitzer, both of Church Hill; one grandson, three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Hutson, Mrs. Arlene Skelton, both of Surgoinsville, and Mrs. Bobbie Manis, Church Hill.
Services will be conducted at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dewey Ford and the Rev. Russell Jones officiating.
Burial will be in the Howes Chapel Cemetery.
Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
