Funeral Services for Allene Holloway will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 17, 2017, in The Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Holloway passed away from this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Brookhaven. Reverend Tim McCaffrey will officiate and interment will be in the Arm Cemetery.

Saulters-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Albert May, Robert May, Keith May, Jerry Cox, Daniel Holloway, and Joseph Shiflao.

Kathryn Allene May Holloway was born December 24, 1922 in Lawrence County to Oscar Robert May and Gladys Sutton May. Mrs. Holloway was a retired school secretary and a member of Monticello Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; 1 sister, Mildred Boyd; and 3 brothers, Ray May, James Earl May, and Produs May.

Mrs. Holloway is survived by her son, John L. Holloway (Martha) of Silver Creek; 2 grandchildren, Lori Adams (Nathan) of Nashville, TN, and Daniel Holloway of San Francisco, CA; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2017 from 9:30am until 11:00am at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home.
