My beloved Uncle* My dad's brother***
-------

Some memories of my Uncle Howard--

My memories of my Uncle were of laughter, because of his 'gift of gab,' EATING some of the best food, that he cooked, and music of the 50s, 60s, and early 70s! He was the, "life of the party." I also remember how well he could dance the latest dance steps. I had learned from other family members that he use to enter and win dance contests in the late 50's and early 60'!

MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO

When I come to the end of the road.
And the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me - but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take.
And each must go alone
it's all part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home.

If when you are lonely and sick of heart.
Go to friends we know
And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds.
Miss me - but let me go.
