Percy & his family left Liverpool, England on a ship. This ship was called "Canada". A fitting name for the ship since it was to dock port in Montreal, Canada.
Percy & his family arrived in Canada on May 20, 1905 and they settled in Copper Cliff, Ontario, Canada.
Percy worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for many years and was promoted to a yardmaster. This occupation landed him in Utah on several trips back and forth from Canada. This is where he met Frances Rebecca Brooks. He married Frances on Dec. 18, 1915 in Ogden, Utah. They went back to Copper Cliff, Canada to celebrate their honeymoon. It was also in Canada where they had the two oldest children, Bertha & Percy Frederick Turner born. They moved permanently in 1919 to Ogden, Utah. They had a total of 8 children together.
Percy & Frances were later divorced and he married Beatrice Edna Nagle in 1944 in Ogden. Percy & Beatrice had one daughter, Josephine "Jody" Beatrice Turner.
Percy died on Aug. 28, 1950 from a heart ailment at the St. Benedict's Hospital in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. He was only 55.
He was buried in the Aultorest Memorial Park Cemetery in Ogden, Weber County, Utah.
