MacNeil Rites Set At Eureka
EUREKA -- Funeral services for David W. MacNeil, 73, Eureka miner, who died Thursday morning in a Juab County hospital following a two weeks illness, will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in Eureka Ward Chapel by George Forsey, bishop.
Friends may call at the home of a son in Eureka Sunday evening and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in Eureka Cemetery under direction of Fairbanks-Quist Mortuary.
Mr. MacNeil was born Jan. 3, 1880, in Bountiful, a son of John D. and Annie Cooper MacNeil. He moved to Eureka in 1896, and had lived there since. He married Elizabeth Laird in 1903. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include two sons, John MacNeil, Grants Pass, Ore.; and Jim MacNeil, Eureka; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph L. Neilsen, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
