Robert Lee Crist, 72, of Luray, died on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond.
He was born on May 27, 1938, in Luray and was a son of the late Mildred Elizabeth Crist Rothgeb.
Mr. Crist was an Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean War.
On Dec. 5, 1959, he married the former Esperanza Hernandez, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are five daughters, Rosa A. Chavarria of Leesburg, Cynthia A. Crist of San Antonio, Texas, Pauline P. Aragon and Raquel R. Mendoza, both of Luray, and Crystal C. Crist of Manassas; a son, Michael W. Crist of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana E. Crist.
A funeral service was conducted on Sunday, Sept. 19, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. David Johnson. Burial was in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
