Aden H. Bauman passed away in Elmira on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Rebecca Bauman (nee Martin) of Elmira; loved father of Pauline Bauman, Delphine Bauman and her husband Trevor Metzger, Marcus and his wife Susan, Elaine Marie (predeceased in 1965) and Eric and his wife Sheila. Also survived by his grandchildren Simon and Jeremy Metzger, Rebecca, Emily and Sylvia Bauman, Hannah and Jakob Bauman. Brother of Leonard and Lovina Bauman, predeceased by his parents Jonas and Hettie (Horst) Bauman and his sisters Lydian Bauman and Minerva (Enoch) Martin. Aden was a partner in B & M Farm Equipment from 1960 - 1990. He was a dedicated member of Elmira Mennonite Church and many will remember him for his caring heart and generous spirit. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Sunday from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial service to celebrate Aden's life and faith will be held at the Elmira Mennonite Church on Monday, September 27 at 11 a.m. with Pastors Steven Janzen and Fred Lichti. The casket will remain open at the church from 9:30 until interment time at 10:30 a.m. In Aden's memory, donations to Mennonite Central Committee or Elmira Mennonite Church would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
