Born May 25, 1926 in Hoboken, NJ he was the son of the late Richard and Margaret Crozier Housman. He lived in Middlebush, NJ before moving to Hampton.
He was an exempt member and past captain of the Hampton Emergency Squad, past Chairman of the 10th District New Jersey State First Aid Council, contributing member of the Hampton Fire Department and a former Police Commissioner.
He is survived by his two sons Kenneth Housman of Holland Township, NJ, Richard Housman of Hampton, NJ, seven daughters, Patricia Zimmmerman, Barbara Roamer, Susan Matarazzo, and Penny Tampier of Hampton, Debra Lord of Califon, NJ, Diane Housman-Brown of Raritan Township, NJ, and Margaret Jagel of Springville, PA . A brother, Harold Housman of Belvidere, NJ, 3 sisters, Sara Buck, Gladys Weiss and Margaret Pitbladdo all of Flemington, NJ. (3 other brothers, Richard, Ralph and Walter and a sister Marion Bolwby all predeceased him) His loving wife, Clarice, passed away in 2004) He leaves behind nine grandchildren.
