Effie Dow Cogan passed away in Pleasant Hills, CA. She is survived by her children, Bruce J. and Wayne; daughters-in-law, Susan; and Sandra Randall. Her grandchildren are Carey, Erin and Kim Cogan. Mrs. Cogan was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 1986. Mrs. Cogan was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and a member of the Daughters of the King. She was also a graduate of Carnegie Tech, Class of 1937. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 502 W. Ave. K, Lancaster, with the Very Reverend Phillip R. Strange officiating. Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale, Directors.
