Earl "Bert" Just, 86, Salina, died Saturday, Jan 31, 1998, at Salina Regional Health Center from injuries received in a traffic accident at Crawford and Ohio Streets.

Mr. Just was born Feb 15, 1911, at Salina and was a lifelong Salina Resident. He managed University Market, 1300 S. Santa Fe, from 1948 to 1977. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

Surviviors include his wife, Lucile of Salina; a son, Richard of Salina; a daughter Dena Just of Salina; a brother, Robert of Salina; and three sisters, Wilma Brookhauser of Martinez, Califo., Celia Beach of Fort Collins, Colo., and Reba Root of Novi, Mich.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E Crawford, the Rev. Robert Conway officiating. There will be a chapel conclusion service. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park with no service.

Memorials may be made to University United Methodist Church. The casket will remain closed. There will be no visitation.
