Died Monday


Charles Robert Winebrenner, 75, North First Ave., Middleport, died Monday evening at Pleasant Valley Hospital.

Mr. Winebrenner, a veteran of World War I, who served in the U.S. Army, was a member of Feeney-Bennett Post 128, American Legion, Middleport. He was the son of the late Charles and Sarah See Winebrenner; and besides his parents was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Mabel; three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Iris) Williams, Pomeroy Route 4; Mrs. Omer (Aldine) Russell, Grove City, and Mrs. Charles (Dona) King, Glendale, W.Va.; two brothers, Dale of Middleport, and William Homer of Pomeroy; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Ohlinger of Pomeroy; five grandsons, three grand-daughters and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rawlings-Coats Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy W. Carter officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery at Cheshire.

Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Graveside rites will be conducted by the Feeney-Bennett Post.
