Mrs. Radie Carpenter, 55, of Arnoldsburg died Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Calhoun General hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Clay county, daughter of the late George and Peach Young Bragg.
Survivors include her husband, S. Guy Carpenter; five daughters, Mrs. Sharon Floyd and Mrs. Carol Falls of Arnoldsburg, Mrs. Ellen Jackson of Mt. Zion, Mrs. Daisy Boyce of Newport News, Virginia, and Mrs. Karen Roberts of Ashland, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Gray, Mrs. Rine Spence and Mrs. Retha Saulsberry of Clay, and Mrs. Roxie Myers of Swandale; three brothers, Carnes Bragg of Cabin Creek, and Cornelius and Criss Bragg of Ovapa, and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, Nov. 21, at the Orma United Methodist church with the Rev. Johny Alfred officiating, and burial was in the Carpenter cemetery at Orma.
