Patrick R. Kelley, who has served as a deputy sheriff for 27 years before his retirement, died August 29, 1971, at the age of 66. He was born near Westover, South Dakota, he had lived in Los Angeles, California for 54 years.
A resident of 1918 Delta St., Mr. Kelley had served in the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and was a member of the Alumni Association of Los Angeles County Employees and the Sheriff's Relief Association.
He leaves his wife, Selma; a brother, Albert; sisters Mary Schwarzkopf and Theodora Crane.
Funeral services were conducted at the Little Church of the Flowers on Sept. 2, with internment in Forest Lawn-Glendale
