Mr. Knapp was born at Schoolcraft, Michigan, June 21, 1878, and moved to Griggs County in young manhood. He married Ruth May Inman at Cooperstown in 1901. She died in November, 1934.
He later married Myrtle Kurtz who survives him. He also leaves four sons, Boyd Jr., of Fargo, Kenneth of Glenfield, Claude of Hannaford and Earl of Sutton; two brothers, Clay of Revere and George of Tacoma, Washington; a sister Mrs. Walter Richardson of Hannaford, and six grandchildren.
