William J. Curry died Aug. 21 at the hospital in Jacksonville Tuesday. The body was taken to Mr. G. R. Turner's home where Rev. W. W. M. Barber conducted funeral services Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in Ash Grove cemetery. Mr. Curry was born in Ash Grove township 81 years ago next October. With the exception of a few years at Clinton and Mattoon his entire life was passed in Shelby county, which he helped develop. He is survived by three children, Mrs. G. R. Turner of near Windsor, Logan of Lawrence, KS and Oscar of Chattanooga, TN; also several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Windsor Gazette - Thursday - 24 Aug 1916
