HUSBAND OF FORMER COUNTYWOMAN DIES
Jack P Coffman, 51 years old,of Parkersburg, W Va, died at 9 o'clock Saturday night, August 15, 1931 in a hospital in Huntington, W Va. Death was attributed to cerebral hemorrhage.
Mr Coffman was born in Kentucky but lived for some time in Brownsville. He was employed by the Western Union Telegraph Company for a period of 30 years. He married Bessie Kerr, daughter of Mr and Mrs Wm Wayne Kerr of Rices Landing, who survives with one daughter Winnelle Coffman at home.Mr Kerr was a member of the I. O. O. F. Lodge.
The body will be brought to the home of Mr and Mrs Wayne Kerr, Rices Landing, but definite funeral arrangements had not been made yesterday afternoon.

Coffman RITES HELD AT RICES LANDING
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Jack P Coffman, 51, formerly of near Rices Landing, who died in St Mary's Hospital. W Va Saturday.
Following services at the home of Mrs Coffman's parents, Mr and Mrs Wm Wayne Kerr of near Rices Landing, further services were held in the Hewitt Presbyterian Church. The sevices were in charge of Rev I L Crooks of Muddy Creek. interment was in the Hewitt Cemetery.
