Francis Waldema "Franny" Schnuriger was the son of Johann Joseph Schnuriger and Josefa Matschl Schnuriger. Francis W. Schnuriger married Lorene Texas LaJoy Stautzenberger at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas on November 9, 1944. Francis W. and Lorene Schnuriger were parents to five sons. He retired from Civil Service having worked at Kelly A.F.B for 37 years. He started at Kelly Field in the Fire Department and when he retired was working in Bldg 375 Aircraft Division Sheetmetal Shop.
