Courtney Smith Dead
Former Resident of Dwight is Fatally Burned at Home in Minneapolis by Exploding Lamp

Dwight, May 21. - (Special) - Courtney Smith, the younger brother of Col. F. L. Smith, was fatally burned Friday night at his home in Minneapolis, Minn., when a kerosene lamp which he was carrying exploded. His clothing caught fire and before assistance could be rendered him he suffered burns from which he died Saturday morning.

The body was shipped to his former home here, where funeral services will be conducted Monday.
