Born to the late Cornelius and Mary Head. She received her education in the Brooks County Public Schools. At an early age, Climmie gave her heart and hands to God, receiving Him as her Lord and Savior, and was baptized at Mr. Mariah Baptist Church. She met Nabutha Bell as a young adult, after a lengthy courtship, on that great day, March 29, 1947 the two of them became one in holy matrimony. In the mid 1950's Climmie left Georgia and relocated to Chester, PA. where she continued to raise and nurture her children in addition to providing love and support to her extended family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and she took pride in raising each one, referring to them as her "flowers".Climmie is preceded in death by her husband, Nabutha Bell; one son, Frenchie E. Belle; two granddaughters Cherlease A. Anderson, and La'Jane Pernsley; one sister, Arnie "Doll" Curtis (W.B.); and four brothers, Legusta "Lee Baby" Thomas (Imogene), Lewis "Buddy Boy" Chandler (Maxine), Willie Head (Marie) and Eddie Head (Magnolia). She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Marilyn Belle and Bobby Jean Anderson of Chester, Pa.; two sons, Andrew C. Belle of Newark, De and Nathaniel Belle of Dallas, PA; one sister, Eula "Katy" Cannady (Ross) of Chester, PA and teo brother-in-laws, Ross Cannady (Eula) of Chester, PA and Eillie Belle (Jennie) of Quitman,GA. Ten grandchildren, Ronnette D. Belle Johnson (Dante), Robert W. Anderson, Marshelle L. Lee, William T. Lee, Wayne L. Anderson, Tasheka S. Thomas, Frenchie Pernsley, Kimberly E. Jackson, Victoria S. Smith, and Kwanna Hunter; twenty-one great grand children, several cousins, a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
