Ruth, 73, St. Rt. 66, Fort Loramie, died at Wilson Memorial Hospital, of natural causes.
She was a daughter to Edward and Olivia (Brunswick) Bergman. On Oct 6, 1956, at St. Augustine Church in Minster, she married John L. Barhorst, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, William "Bill" (Cindy) and Ronald "Ron" (Susan), all Ft. Loramie, Joseph "Joe", Minster, and Eric (Corrine), Lakeview; two sisters, Joan Eilerman, Ft. Loramie and Pat (Jim) Winner, Minster; ten grandchildren: Sarah, Theresa, Luke, Alex, Justin, Jessica, Adam, Adrianah, Jordan and Jae Barhorst; four brothers-in-law, Mike (Mary Jo), Norman (Janet), and Nelson, all Ft. Loramie, and Sam (Patty), Celina, and a sister-in-law, Kathy (Bud) Link, Celina.
Deceased are a son, David; two brothers, Henry (Betty) and Walter; two sisters, Mary Evelyn (Floyd) Swagman and Dorothy (Henry); and a brother-in-law, Don Eilerman.
She attended St. Michael Catholic Church and was a member of St. Ann's Ladies Sodality and the Minster Eagles Ladies Auxillary. She had been a Minster High School graduate with the class of 1955 and was a homemaker.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at the St. Michael Church, Ft. Loramie, with Rev. Steven Shoup officiating.
