Loyd W., 86, left for his heavenly life on Sept. 8, 2010. He was born Oct. 20, 1923 in Duncan, OK to his parents, Stephen & Jeffie Cash. During WWII, he served in the US Army and was discharged with the rank of Tech Sgt. On Dec. 30, 1945, he married Fannie Leatrice "Lea" Lewis on Feb. 23, 1946. This union of marriage was blessed with 4 daughters. Loyd was a long distance truck driver by profession & retired from Trans Con Truck Lines in 1983. Loyd was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Leon & Louis. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lea; daughters & their spouses, Neva & Johnny Pendley, Reba & David Schmitt, Virginia & Ken Drewery and Debbie & Carl Renuard; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Joe; 3 sisters, Leota, Lavada, & Mary Ann; and numerous members of the Lewis family & many nieces & nephews. We will dearly miss him. We would like to express our gratitude to Prairie View Hospice & Physicians at Home for their love & support. Services will be held 2 PM, Mon., Sept. 13, 2010, at the Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel, 6934 S. Western. Friends may leave condolences at www.vondelsmith mortuary.com

During World War II, Loyd honorably served his country in the United States Army and was discharged with the rank of Tech Sergeant. On December 30, 1945, Loyd married Fannie Leatrice "Lea" Lewis on February 23, 1946. This union of marriage was blessed with 4 daughters, Neva, Reba, Virginia, and Debbie.
