Aged Remington Lady Called Home
Mrs. Katherine Miller, 80, died at her home here at 12:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Miller was born in Montgomery couty, Indiana, Februatry 11, 1856, and married Henry Miller. She had spent the past 40 yeats in this city, where she was a member of the Christian church.
Surviving are two sons, Will of Gary, and Charles of Phoenix, Ariz., and two daughters, Mrs. Madge Studley of Bristol, and Mrs. Jessie Brant of Frankfort; a sister, Mrs. Oscar Hornaday of Low Angeles and two brothers George and Allen Nelson of Lafayette.
Prior to her marriage she taught subscription school in her home county. She came to Jasper county as a bride and has made this her home ever since.
She became a member of the Christian church 45 years ago and was a faithful and devoted member. She was highly respected and loved in her community.
The funeral service was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Marshal Weaver in charge. Burial in Remington cemetery.
