He was born in Elsa Seloren, France, on September 20, 1880, son of Henry and Dorothy Meier and had lived his entire life in the Climax Springs community.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reser Funeral Chapel in Warsaw.
Burial will be in Smokey Cemetery, near Climax Springs.
