Services for Jacob "Jake" David Langston will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2010 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria with Reverend Chris Morris, Reverend Clayton Strohschein officiating. Burial will be in Woodworth Cemetery with Reverend George Marsall officiating.

Pallbearers will be Clifford Nugent, Jr., Kevin S. Cole, Darrell Carson, Malcolm Aymond, Jr., Scott Morse, Robert Gintz, Mike O'Quin, Marty Lacaze, Jr. and Colby Carson.

Jake, 30, of Woodworth passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

He was a member of New Life International Outreach Church, Woodworth. He was an electrician assistant at Langston Electric Company.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Madison B. Johnson and Tommie Babb Johnson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Roger D. and Sara D. Langston of Woodworth; paternal grandparents, Ewell John Langston and Emma Lou Langston of Woodworth; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends may call Thursday at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to New Life International Outreach Church, Children's Building Fund, P. O. Box 307, Woodworth, LA 71485.
