Harvey Allison Phillips, 72, of Carmichaels, R. D., died at 11:15 a.m., Tuesday, March 4, 1958, at his home. Stricken with a heart attack his death was sudden. He was a retired field formean for the Carnegie Gas Company.
Born August 13, 1895, at Bristoria, he was a son of Porter and Elizabeth Loar Phillips. He resided in Carmichaels for the past 34 years.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Verna Condit Phillips; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Tuckish of Cleveland, Ohio; a grandson, Donald Tuckish, one great-grandchild and two brothers, George Phillips of Waynesburg and William Phillips of Baltimore, Md. Two sisters and one brother are deceased.
He was a member of the Waynesburg Elks Lodge and Valley Lodge 459, F. & A. M., of Masontown.
