John graduated in 1982 from Southview High School, Lorain. He earned his Communications bachelor degree in 1986 from The Ohio State University, Columbus.
John worked for AT&T in Columbus as a Customer Sales and Service person for approximately 10 years. He attended Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. He was an avid OSU, Brown and Indians fan. John was a "movie buff" who enjoyed reading and his Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Stogie.
He will be deeply missed by his son Vincent R. Lopez of Columbus, his sisters Dolores Mendez and Hortencia Leibas both of Lorain and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
