Actor. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he was nicknamed Slim and appeared in 345 films between 1914 and 1949. He was working the rodeo circuit in 1912, when he was hired as a riding extra and stunt man for westerns being filmed in Niles Canyon, California. Noted for performing mostly in western features, his credits included "The Radio King" (1922), "The Phantom Buster" (1927), "The Man From Monterey" (1933), "The Law of the Wild" (1934) and "The Westward Trail" (1948). He also appeared in many Three Stooges films and short reels. He died of a heart attack at age 67.
