Married Wallee, who died on the Trail of Tears to western Indian Territory along with his children. Married Ni-suh. A warrior at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend in 1814, he saved the life of Andrew Jackson, an act that he publicly regretted in his later years. For this "heroism" the state of No.Carolina awarded him a large land holding and state citizenship in 1847 .Survived at his death by grandchildren includ.
