Mrs. Carrie B. Storm died April 21, 1941, at 3:15 p.m. in Indianapolis, in the home of her daughter Telva (Mrs. Frank Clem) with whom she had made her home for the past ten years.
Funeral services were held in the Ash Grove church, Wednesday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by the pastor Rev. O. A. Trinkle, of the Englewood church. Music was by the Ash Grove male quartette - Leo Bennett, Vance and Neal Kercheval and Guy Storm, and a duet by Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bennett, with Mrs. Vance Kercheval at the piano.
Interment was in the cemetery near her loved ones, there to rest in peace until the resurrection morn.
Mrs. Storm was the daughter of Wm. and Mary McDaniels, born January 10, 1866, being 75 years, 3 months and 11 days old at her passing. She was the last surviving one of the ten children born to her parents. On September 9, 1883 she was united in marriage with Frank Ellis. To this union were born four children, two dying in infancy. One daughter, Mrs. Frank Clem, and son, Bart, survive. There are five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mr. Ellis died July 14, 1921 and she married Geo. W. Storm July 11, 1922. Mr. Storm departed this life Oct. 26, 1931, and Mrs. Storm then went to Indianapolis, where she has since made her home.
In early life she united with the Ash Grove Christian church and since living in Indianapolis transferred her membership to the Englewood Christian congregation.
