Levi Auston Garrett Chapman,
age 7, of Williamsburg, KY., departed this life to be with his Lord, on Monday, January 3, 2005 in Barberville, FL. as a result of an automobile accident. He was joined in his departure with his father, Wesley Disel Chapman and his sister Isabella Celeste Chapman.Auston was born on October 6, 1997 in Knoxville, TN to his parents Julie Celeste Chapman and the late Wesley Disel Chapman. He is survived by his mother, Julie Chapman; his grandparents, Pam and Ronnie Chinn, Joyce and Bennie McCullah; his great grandfather Disel Buhl; his aunts and uncles Michelle & Matthew Ravish of Ft. Myers, FL, Tonya & Jason McCullah, Jacob McCullah, April and Dustin Chinn, and Ann Chapman Walters all of Williamsburg, KY., cousins Dalton McCullah, Isaac McCullah, Madison Anderson, Alyssa Chinn, Blake Walters all of Williamsburg, KY. and Trenton McCullah of Belfry, KY. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Geraldine Buhl, Anna May and Ben McCullah, Hattie and Clint Broyles.Auston adored his parents and little sister and aspired to be "just like my daddy". He shared Wesley's love for the outdoors, for his farm work, fishing, hunting and spending precious family time with his Dad, Mom, sister and relatives. He planned to follow in his Daddy's footsteps and manage family businesses as an adult. Auston's vibrant personality and love for conversation with others was a direct reflection of his mother's character within him. Auston was a child who loved animals of all sorts, especially reptiles. Whenever playing outdoors, Auston could be found searching for creatures that he could bring home to care for as his own. Auston also had a special love in his heart for his younger sister. He was a source of support and comfort as they lived inseparable lives. Auston never met a stranger and his outgoing personality and warm, loving smile endeared him to all who met him. The family often spoke of his "angelic personality and attitude", during his time with them here on earth. He loved school and his teachers as a member of the first grade class at Whitley Central Elementary School and was an adored and loved member of his school family.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 11 AM at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome McCullah, Rev. David Caddell and Rev. Fred Powers officiating. Burial will follow in the Croley Addition, Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 5 PM. Croley Funeral Home of Williamsburg, KY is in charge of arrangements.
