Burial is noted in Griggers Cemetery when in fact this was land owned by James Lafayette Pickard prior to his death. His wife Ann Hasseltine Pickard married 2nd Augustus "Gus" Greiger who had been the overseer of the Pickard plantation and also served with James Lafayette Pickard in the same regiment. Many would say this burial location should be called the Pickard Family Cemetery.
