Helen Clark, 73 of Clyde passed away Monday, October 27, 2008 at Smokey Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Haywood County on June 17, 1935 to the late Grover and Kathryn McCarson Clark. She was a member of the Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church where she was very active. She graduated from Fines Creek High School and enjoyed flowers, especially roses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Clark.
She is survived by two brothers, Edward Clark and his wife, Virginia and J. C. Clark and his wife, Annette all of Clyde and two sisters, Mildred Clark of Clyde and Juanita and her husband, Ray Ledford of Lake Junaluska.
Services will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church with the Reverend Jimmy Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery Fund; c/o Frank Green, 196 Rainy Branch Road, Clyde, NC 28721.
