Mrs. Minnie Folmar, wife of G.O. Folmar, died Sunday morning, July 24th, at her home near Frankston. Mrs. Folmar had given birth to a little babe and though several weeks had passed, she never regained strength. She was 37 years old.
She was, before her marriage, Miss Minnie Cook and had grown to womanhood here. She was married to G.O. Folmar in January 1906. Mrs. Folmar was converted in Rev. Sid Williams' revival and a member of the Baptist Church for 5 years.
She is survived by her husband, four boys, two sisters, Mrs. Waitsel Clakley of near Frankston and Mamie Bailey of New Mexico, six brothers, Walter, Warner and Webster Cook of Frankston, Wade Cook of Dallas, Waymon Cook of Frankston and Ben Cook of Cherokee County.
Funeral services were conducted at the City Cemetery Monday afternoon. Rev. Brilbro preached religious services and the Woodmen Circle ladies took charge and laid her away. There was a large crowd of sympathizing friends present.
