George Hamilton, resident of Luray, died Sunday evening, September 17, in his home there.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 in the Luray Baptist Church. Burial in the Combs Cemetery.

Mr. Hamilton was born February 10, 1879 near Luray a son of William and Mary Ann Mosley Hamilton. He never married.

Survivors include a brother, Tom, of Webster, Illinois and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Baker of Akron, Colorado and Mrs. Grace Bash of Wayland.

Services were conducted by Rev. Burden of Memphis.

Bodybearers were Otis and Charles Johnson, Lester, Fern and Sherman Hutson and Lawrence Sisson.

The singers were Oval St. Clair, Stella Hawkins, Creva Gutting, and Wallace Hardy, with Effie Leeper at the piano.
