Services were 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 1996, at Mims Mitchell Chapel with burial in Sharon Cemetery in Magee.
Mims Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee handled the arrangements.
Mrs. Fairchild was a native of Simpson County. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Jimmy Fairchild, Truitt Fairchild, Earl Fairchild, Jerry Fairchild, all of Magee; daughters, Katie Myers, Louise Little, both of Magee; sister, Eria Wells of Magee; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
