Alice Birdie Morgan, age 96, of Wake Village, TX, died Friday, August 27, 2010 in a local nursing center.
Mrs. Morgan was born September 8, 1913 in Idabel, OK. She was a retired Avon Representative and a member of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a Charter member of Wadley Auxiliary, Upper Room Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald Morgan of Albuquerque, N.M., Jerry and Shera Morgan of Texarkana, Gary and Linda Morgan of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and George Willige of Wake Village, TX; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
Services for Mrs. Morgan will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Scott Fenton officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 P.M. at Denison Cemetery in Idable, OK under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. Monday, August 30, 2010 at the funeral home.
