Wilk J. Lawson, 81, Rote 3, Sneedville, died Tuesday, August 5th, 1986, at Hancock County Hospital after an extended illness.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Cobbs Chapel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillie Lawson in 1964.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie Lawson, of the home; three daughters, Ollie Lawson and Maxie Seals, both of Sneedville and Mary Pressley of Rogersville; three sons, Millard Lawson and Earl Lawson, both of Sneedville and Arnold Lawson of Edison; 28 grand-children; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Sturm Lawson of Whitesburg and Bert Lawson of Rogersville; one sister, Rose Bowlin, of White Pine.
Services were held Friday at Cobbs Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Shafter Shaw officiating.
Burial was in the Lawson Cemetery.
