PRITCHARD, Julius Elmer was born May 8, 1875 in Bladen, Gallia County, Ohio the son of Jonathan A. Pritchard and Fannie Angelina Holcomb. He married Marie S. King April 8, 1902 in Gallia, Ohio and they were the parents of two children, Exxie Kathleen (Clifford Koehler) and John I. He was first employed as a farmer and later managed the operations of a large farm while living in Naperville. When he returned to Ohio and West Virginia he worked variously as a produce broker, real estate agent and finally as the proprietor of the Adelphi Hotel in Huntington, West Virginia. He was raised a Master Mason September 18, 1906. He died January 3, 1937 in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia and was buried in the Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis, Gallia County, Ohio.
