COOKEVILLE –Funeral services for Francis Moore Shelton, 74, were held Monday, April 30 at the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald L. Stow officiating. Mr. Shelton died April 28 at Cookeville City Cemetery. Burial was in Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mr. Shelton was a native of Overton County, the son of Spotwood and Sallie Deck Shelton.
He is survived by a son, Barney McCoy Shelton of Cookeville; two grandsons, Randy and Ricky Shelton, both of Cookeville; and one greatgrandson, Brian Shelton.
