Mrs. C. B. Merrill, for thirty-six years a resident of this town, died suddenly Monday evening of last week about ten at her home. Her age was eighty-four years, nine months and fifteen days. Mrs. Merrill was born in Parkman and always lived there until she came to Guilford. She married Ezra Merrill sixty-five years ago and he died eighteen years ago. Four of the seven children born to them are still living: Etta Fogg of this town, Carrie Brawn of Dover-Foxcroft, Henry and Thomas of Dexter.
Mrs. Merrill was the most estimable woman who found her greatest pleasure in her home and with her family. She had a pleasing personality and made many friends who will deeply mourn her death.
