Anderson "Andy" Halcomb, age 84 of Clinton passed away August 21, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center. He retired from Y-12 after 30 years of service and was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by parents, Granville and Lucinda Halcomb and six siblings.
He is survived by Loving wife of 58 years Anne Halcomb of Clinton Sons Wayne Halcomb & wife Joan of Unicoi, TN Allen Halcomb & wife Mabel of Knoxville Mark Halcomb & wife Jane of Clinton Grandchildren. Jeremiah Honeycutt Olivia Halcomb Katelyn & husband Aaron Comer Andrew and Foster Halcomb Great Grandchildren Winter Honeycutt and Addalyn Comer Several nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Laurence Hesser officiating. Friends and family will meet 10:00 am Thursday at the Woodhaven Memorial Garden for a grave side service. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements
