SHAWMUT - Funeral servcies for Bruce B. Bishop of Shawmut are scheduled for 2 p.m. EDT, Thurday, Sept. 13, 1979, from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Shawmut Cemetery. Rev. Jim McCullars and Rev. Jay Earles will officiate.
Mr. Bishop, 81, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Lee County Hosital. A native of Chambers County, he was born Feb. 2, 1898. He was a member of Shawmut Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cassie G. Bishop, Shawmut; a son, Ronnie Bishop, Auburn; a daughter, Mrs. Elbert J. Baker, Opelika; a sister, Mrs. Walter Potts, Shawmut; a brother, Harold Irvin, Shawmut; five grandchildren and one great-granchild
Johnson Brown-Service Fuenral Home is handling arrangements.
