Fairy Jane Lynn, 88, passed away Jan. 3, 1991 in an Okc hospital. She was born Nov. 13, 1902 to Andrew and Lou Ellen Hobbs in Tennessee. She lived most of her life in the Duncan area later moving to Okc. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis ''Bill'' Barrick, sons, Earn and Billy Joe; 2 sisters and 1 brother, granddaughter, Barbara Langford Fox and great grandson, Ronnie Johnson. She is survived by a sister, Hassie Burkett of Durham, CA, a son, Willis B. ''Buster'' Barrick of Ada, daughters, Patty Langford and Lorene Trent of Okc, Dorothy Henderson of Duncan and Minnie Blevins of Lindsay; also 23 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 7, at 1pm at Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan with burial in the Duncan Cemetery

Fairy was the the daughter of Andy Jackson Lynn and Lou Ellen Hobbs. (her maiden name was Lynn not Hobbs) Her sister Hassie Lynn married Emmett George Burkett. You can find them with their parents in the 1910 census in Civil District 7, Coffee, Tennessee (Enumeration district 41, sheet 9B) Fairy's name is misspelled as Farra. You can find Fairy again living in her father's home with her new husband Willis Barrick (and a baby listed last) in 1920 in Wayne, McClain, Oklahoma (Enumeration district 85, sheet 9A)
