Age 80, of Pleasant Lake, passed away on February 7, 2004 at Foote Hospital, Jackson, MI. A devoted homemaker and mother, she attended Pleasant Lake Methodist Church on Territorial Rd. Mary is survived by daughters Diane Cornwell, Karen Klickner, Lena (Russell) McCabe and Rose Miles; sons Michael Briggs and Walter Briggs III; 9 Grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter E. "Ed" Briggs II. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held in the near future.
