7 Dec 1916: Mrs. Ellen Brightbill, widow of the late Joseph Brightbill, of 1302 Brandywine Street, died there this morning at nine o'clock, following a brief Illness from pneumonia. She was 65 years old and made her home with a daughter, Mrs. William Sattazahn, who with the following other children are left: George H. Brightbill, Philip S. Brightbill, Mrs. Mary E. McConnell, Mrs. Eva McConnell Miller, Mrs. John M. Boltz. Two sisters, Mrs. William Zellers, of Reading; Mrs. Benjamin Hosier, and a brother, John Reed, Wernersville, are also left. Also these grandchildren: Thelma Boltz, Reda Sattazahn, Charles, Eva, Harry, Clarence and Anna May McConnell. She was a member of the Memorial U. B. Church and a native of Wernersville, Berks County.
