Kathleen I. (Inga) Kapp, age 51, of Shippenville, died Monday evening, August 16, 2010 at the Clarion Hospital, following a brief illness.
Born March 8, 1959, she was the daughter of Francis Fleeger, Sr. and the late Cleo Swedenhjelm Fleeger.
She married Shirl B. Kapp. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2010.
At one time, she owned and operated coal trucks, along with her husband. She worked for Structural Modulars Inc. until 2001 when injuries she sustained in an automobile accident left her a quadriplegic. Mrs. Kapp was a member of the Callensburg Church of God.
In addition to her father, she is survived by two sisters: Susan Ellen Whitehead and her husband, Brian, of Clayton, Indiana and Lisa Ann Hulings of James City; One brother: Francis L. Fleeger, Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Shippenville; three step sons: Denny Kapp and his wife, Jackie, of Franklin; Terry Kapp of Wilson, North Carolina and Jack Kapp and his wife, Bethanne, of Shippenville; Three step-daughters: Betty Boocks of Knox; Joy Rapp and her husband, Larry, of Shippenville ad Marcy Simpson and her husband, Will, of Marble; 22 step-grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, step great grandchildren, step-nieces and step-nephews.
In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 in the funeral home. Reverend Tom Hannold will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Perry Chapel Cemetery at Pine City, Clarion County.
