Magrath Lady dies In Fall Tuesday
MAGRATH.--(HNS) --A fall from the porch of her Magrath home on Tuesday afternoon proved fatal to Mrs. Annie (ic, Amy) Walker Smith, aged 60 years, wife of James Smith, Magrath town policeman. the deceased had been in excellent health and her passing has shocked the community. She died instantly.
The late Mrs. Smith was born in Birmingham, England, on Oct. 13, 1878, and came to Canada in 1912. She married in Claresholm in 1913 and had resided in Magrath for the past 16 years.

Besides her husband, the deceased is survived by her only son, Allan, a veteran of World War II who is now in England. A brother and sister, also residing in England, survive.
Remains have been removed to Christensen Brothers' mortuary at Lethbridge and funeral services have been arranged for the Magrath First Ward Church on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Magrath cemetery.
