Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Walter Monette; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
He was employed with UPS for 33 years until his death. He was a member of St. Juliana Catholic Church and a member of the Acme Lodge #43 Prince Hall Masons.
Ronald Monette, age 56, of Alexandria, died at Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Christus Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 34 years, Linda T. Monette of Alexandria; two daughters, Michelle Speed (Michael) of Alexandria and Nicole Monette of Baton Rouge; special friend of the family, Tonya Gilchrist of Baton Rouge; two granddaughters, MiKelle and Mia Speed; mother, Inez Williams; two sisters, Delores Washington (Earl) of Pineville and Rose Marie Lee of Alexandria; five brothers, Raymond (Audrey) of Pineville, Clenis (LaDretta), Lloyd (Margaret), Bobby and Glenn, all of Alexandria; seven sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, March 18, 2005 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary at 7 p.m.
