In remembrance of Freda Belle (Neely) McElfresh, who went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 30, 1929, daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Monroe Neely. Freda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by four sons, Tommy Edward and Earl Earnest (Earnie), both of Parkersburg, Larry of Florida and Richard of Caldwell; three daughters, Mary Ann Pyne of New Jersey, Shirley Smith of Logan, Ohio, and Linda Lockhart of Parkersburg; one brother, William Monroe of Alliance, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed and loved by so many, rest in peace mom-grandma, we all love you.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Sonny" McElfresh; one brother, Richard Monroe; one sister, Joann Keys; one son, Robert Lee; and one daughter, Dorothy Louise Day.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Richard Runion officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
